What to expect
These missions are exclusively performed in Pangasinan. RMMF owns and operates a hospital (Dr. Jose P. Rizal-Gen. Douglas MacArthur Memorial Hospital), in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan. (24/7). Minor medical and dental missions are performed at this site. RMMF also owns and operates the Holy Family Community and Health Center in Barrio Lubas, Urbiztondo, Pangasinan. This clinic is an extension of the RMMF hospital in Urbiztondo, is serviced once a week by a physician. Eye surgeries are performed year round, by local medical volunteers, limited to cataracts and lens implants and held at the Mangatarem District Hospital, where we have renovated the operating room and been given use of one of the operating rooms exclusively. Major surgical is performed in a site chosen by the Board of Trustees and may be in Pangasinan or other parts of the country. In 2012, surgical site will be in Tacloban, Leyte.
